At Back of Beyond we help those who are in need of companionship find a friendly and safe place to meet with others in the same situation.
We provide a meal, talks and activities at a minimal cost.
There is a paid worker, Suzanne, who coordinates the meal and activities but we are always grateful when people volunteer their time to assist in anyway. This can be from being in the kitchen, running activities, talking about a passion or helping to set up and clear away at the start and end of sessions.
All we ask is that when you have confirmed willingness to volunteer on a particular day that you commit to it and turn up.
